Sara Silvennoinen LPC/CAADC

Sara started her professional career working as an outreach specialist with the homeless and mentally ill throughout Washtenaw County. She spent much of that time walking the streets, hiking in the woods and tunneling under and around bridges to locate people in need. She helped many who struggled with depression, substance abuse, PTSD and other challenges people in the homeless community face by talking with them, and connecting them to services. This lead many of those clients to get sober, find jobs, locate sustainable housing and reconnect with loved ones.

After 12 years in the field she started My Motivation to help others who are struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, stress and other day to day challenges. She strives to help her clients before it has a severe negative impact on their lives. Since 2015, she has helped many cope with their struggles by offering them suggestions, working with them to obtain goals and even sometimes just being an ear to talk to.

If you are trying to cope with these struggles on your own, please reach out to Sara and her team. You don’t have to do this alone.
