Devon’s clinical work started over a decade ago with community based psychiatric treatment, providing medication & case management, psychotherapy, psychoeducation and support groups, to individuals and their families.
Devon’s interests lie in the wholistic treatment of adults living with mood & anxiety disorders, trauma, and her passion lies in supporting individuals living with severe mental illnesses (bipolar, schizophrenia, substance use disorders). Devon is available to work with adults +18
Devon’s personality is laid back, humorously real, validating and honest.Her approach to therapy comes from a humanistic & solution centered framework, ‘meeting you where you’re at’, helping to identify & work through barriers, building on natural strengths. She borrows many therapeutic concepts and tools from TF- CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy).
